Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Sound off on the important issues at

Drunken driving:

• Police arrested 62-year-old Claude Odell on a charge of drunken driving at 3:31 p.m. Wednesday on outbound Egan Drive near Vintage Boulevard in the Mendenhall Valley. They lodged him at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Domestic violence:

• Police arrested a 46-year-old woman on charges of disorderly conduct and interfering with officers in an incident reported as domestic violence at 4:23 a.m. Thursday in the 1400 block of Harbor Way downtown.


• Two yellow wet-floor signs were reported stolen at 12:01 p.m. Wednesday in the 300 block of Fifth Street downtown.

• Cash totaling $117 was reported stolen at 12:25 p.m. Wednesday in the 3000 block of Vintage Boulevard.

• A black nylon ski coat was reported stolen at 4:04 p.m. Wednesday in the 1600 block of Glacier Highway downtown.

Vehicle accident:

• A 20-year-old woman was cited on charges of driving without a license or insurance and failing to maintain a safe distance in traffic after an accident at 2:49 p.m. Wednesday on outbound Egan Drive at Glacier Highway in the Jordan Creek area. The 1992 Nissan Sentra she was driving was reported totaled. Damage was listed as minor to a 2004 Volkswagen Passat, driven by a 47-year-old woman, and a 1994 Ford pickup, driven by a 16-year-old boy.

Traffic stop:

• Police impounded a vehicle at 7:14 a.m. Thursday at Juneau-Douglas High School after citing a 17-year-old boy on a charge of driving without a license.
