Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Driving while intoxicated:

• Joann Henderson, 50, was arrested for drunken driving at 9:36 a.m. Saturday near Lupine Street and Riverside Drive. She was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

• James Lawrence Wilson, 21, was arrested on two drunken-driving charges at 3:19 a.m. Sunday near Mendenhall Loop Road. Wilson received the first charge after driving a vehicle into a tree and the second when he got into another vehicle to leave the scene of the accident. He was lodged at the state prison.

Assaults:

• Police arrested a man, 31, for domestic violence assault at 7:59 p.m. Saturday in the Lemon Creek area. Police believe alcohol was a factor. The man was lodged at the state prison.

• Police arrested a man, 44, for domestic violence assault at 8:40 p.m. Sunday in the Mendenhall Valley. Police believe alcohol was a factor in this incident. He was lodged at the state prison.

Thefts:

• Items valued at $190 were reported stolen at 10:37 a.m. from a Chevy truck on Meander Way.

• Miscellaneous stereo equipment, valued at $1,400, was reported stolen at 3:07 p.m. Saturday from an unlocked Chevy Camaro on James Boulevard.

• A black BMX X-Games bike, valued at $140, was reported stolen at 4:19 p.m. Saturday near Mendenhall Loop Road.

• A red 24-speed Motiv mountain bike, valued at $250, was reported stolen at 12:41 a.m. Sunday from outside of an apartment on Northwood Drive.

• A tan crochet purse was reported stolen at 6:48 a.m. Sunday from a vehicle parked near Marine Way.

• A child's red and yellow Airstrike X-Games bike, valued at $100, was reported stolen at 6:48 a.m. Sunday from outside a home near Glacier Highway.

• Two DVD rentals were reported stolen at 6:08 p.m. Sunday from a vehicle parked near Whittier Street.

• A man, 25, was arrested at 9:37 p.m. Sunday near Mendenhall Loop Road for possession of stolen property. Police believe alcohol was a factor in this incident. He was lodged at the state prison.

Vandalism and criminal mischief:

• The windows and siding of a building were reported damaged by paintballs at 10:57 a.m. Saturday near Glacier Highway.

• The trunk and spoiler of a red 2000 Plymouth Neon was reported damaged at 4:07 p.m. Sunday from Glacier Highway in Lemon Creek. Damage was estimated at $600.

Animal encounters:

• Bears were reported Saturday at 7 a.m. near Glacier Highway, 4:45 p.m. near Northwood Drive, 8:13 p.m. near Cedar Drive and 9:43 p.m. near Glacierwood Drive, 11:24 p.m. near Gail Avenue.

• Bears were reported Sunday at 2:47 a.m. near Stephen Richards Memorial Drive, 5:10 a.m. near University Drive, 6:22 a.m. near Mendenhall Loop Road, 7:12 a.m. near Glacier Highway, 8:43 a.m. near Glacier Highway in Lemon Creek, 11:49 a.m. near Glacier Highway, 12:11 p.m. near Mendenhall Loop Road, 2:48 p.m. near Glacier Highway, 9:07 p.m. near Gladstone Street, 10:41 p.m. near Stephen Richards Memorial Drive, 10:49 p.m. near Glacier Highway in Lemon Creek and 11:38 p.m. near Sixth Street.

• Bears were reported today at 1:33 a.m. near Sixth Street, 2:58 a.m. near Glacier Highway in Lemon Creek, 2:59 a.m. near Glacier Highway, 3:35 a.m. near Sixth Street and 5:41 a.m. near Stephen Richards Memorial Drive.

Alcohol-related calls: 8.
