Bush's thought police

Letters to the editor

Posted: Thursday, September 23, 2004

While watching the news this morning a lady at a Mrs. Bush speech was arrested for standing on a public spot and talking to reporters wanting to ask the Bush people why their members of the administration support the war in Iraq with our children and none of theirs. I watched as the police cuffed and arrested her and hauled her away to jail. The charge, "defiant trespass."

I am continually amazed at the new charges created by Bush supporters to silence those that disagree. I eagerly await this administration's thought police to show up and arrest me for "defiant writing" or perhaps "disagreeable thoughts."
