Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
Police arrested 24-year-old Shaun Guthrie on a charge of drunken driving at 12:47 a.m. Thursday on Mendenhall Loop Road at Montana Creek Road. They took him to the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and impounded the vehicle he was driving.
A green girl's bicycle was reported stolen at 5:14 p.m. Wednesday in the 2800 block of Mendenhall Loop Road.
At 9:15 a.m. Thursday, about $40 worth of gas was reported stolen from a 1985 Toyota truck in the 11400 block of Glacier Highway in the Auke Bay area. Damage was estimated at $100 to the locking gas cap and $200 to the fuel tank.
About 16 tablets of Vicodin, a prescription pain reliever, were reported stolen in the 3600 block of Amalga Street in the valley.
About $45 was reported stolen from a purse at 11:19 a.m. Thursday in the 100 block of Marine Way downtown.
At 12:22 a.m. Thursday a rock was reported thrown at the headlight of a 1993 Dodge van in the 3300 block of Douglas Highway. Damage to the van was estimated at $30.
At 1:36 a.m. Thursday, two portable toilets were reported to have been set on fire at the North Douglas Boat Launch.
At 7:30 a.m. Thursday, a Ford Bronco was reported to have been shot three times with a BB gun in the 300 block of Distin Avenue downtown.
At 9:27 a.m. Thursday, four trees were reported vandalized in the 300 block of Highland Drive downtown.
A portable safe containing miscellaneous paperwork was turned into police at 2:55 p.m. Wednesday after it was reportedly found near Eagle Beach.
Police impounded a vehicle at 9:19 a.m. Thursday in the 400 block of St. Anns Avenue in Douglas after they cited the driver, a 31-year-old woman on a charge of driving without a license.
A bear was reported eating garbage out of a shed at 1:02 a.m. Thursday in the 9900 block of Stephen Ricahrds Memorial Drive in the Mendenhall Valley. Bears also were reported 10:05 p.m. Wednesday near Lemon Creek Road and at 8:35 a.m. Thursday in the 9000 block of Mendenhall Loop Road.
