ANCHORAGE - Tuition is going up again at the University of Alaska.
The UA Board of Regents last week approved the fifth tuition increase since 2003.
Regents approved a 4 percent increase for lower level undergraduate classes - the 100 and 200 level courses - and a 7 percent increase for all other levels beginning in 2010.
According to the university, UA tuition ranks ninth out of 15 western states among four-year public universities.
Regents also reviewed upcoming operating and capital budgets.
