Juneau resident Julia B. Gingras died Sept. 20, 2000.
She was born Oct. 5, 1910, in Lodi, N.J., where she was also raised. She lived in various towns in Bergen County, N.J. She lived in Saddle Brook, N.J. from 1949 to 1997, where she was a homemaker and a toy assembler at Amloid Corporation. She then retired and moved to Juneau.
She is preceded in death by her father Alexander Gorski, mother Zofia Helleman Gorski Federoff, husband Leo Gingras, five sisters and two brothers.
She is survived by her daughter Patricia Gingras and granddaughter Alisaundre Gingras of Juneau, son Richard L. and daughter-in-law Patricia E. Gingras of Fair Haven, Vt., grandson Brian, granddaughter Johanne, and great-granddaughters Rachel and Sarah Gingras of Moses Lake, Wash., grandson Andrew Gingras of San Diego, brother Adrian and sister-in-law Mary Federoff of Lodi, N.J.
Gravesite ceremony will be held at George Washington Memorial Park, today at 2:30 p.m. in Paramus, N.J. A memorial service will be held in Juneau in about three weeks.
