Singer-songwriter and guitarist Bob Cole returns from a three-month music tour of the Lower 48 to perform with guitarist Jason Caputo Friday and Saturday, Sept. 27 and 28, at Doc Water's Pub.
Cole and Caputo's combined style mixes blues and country-rock, with Cole's lyrics painting an honest picture of life, family and trials and tribulations. Though the duo performs some covers, most of their music is original. Caputo said the new songs have a different flavor, but still reflect Cole's style that Juneau has come to know over the last 30 years.
Cole has performed with Moses Kane, Brotherhood Bridge and the Cole-Younger Band.
Caputo, who performs mostly with BRAVEmonkey, is also known for his sideman work with Buddy Tabor, Teri Tibbett and the Bobb Family Band, and as the leader of the bands Dag Nabbit, Screaming Love Bunnies and Curly J and the Wristrockets.
