Make WAVES Night Sept. 28 at the Hangar on the Wharf

Wave goodbye to the last of the cruise ships and make waves for a healthy Pacific Ocean with a pint. The Alaskan Brewing Company will host a fundraising event for Coastal CODE Yakutat Surfing and Cleanup Expedition, 7 to 10 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 28 at the Hangar on the Wharf.

Proceeds from the sale of Alaskan IPA will be donated to the Coastal CODE fund, whose mission is to promote the health of the Pacific Ocean and its coastline.

Enjoy drinks with professional surfers and ocean advocates Joe Curren, Chris Del Moro and the rest of the 2008 Coastal CODE surfing team.
