Earthquake occurs near Denali Park

FAIRBANKS - An earthquake occurred near Denali National Park and Preserve in central Alaska.
The Alaska Earthquake Information Center says the quake had a preliminary magnitude of 4.2 and was centered 29 miles southeast of Kantishna, or 35 miles west of Cantwell.
It occurred at 4:19 a.m. Wednesday.
The center says there were no reports that the event was felt or caused any damage.
