City adds bill-paying options

JUNEAU Beginning this week, Juneau's city government is accepting credit card payments over the phone or Internet. Payments can be made for real property tax, business personal property tax, utilities, sales tax, ambulance fees, and several other city services.

Phone payments can be made through a toll-free line 24 hours a day, (800) 272-9829. Internet payments can be made through Official Payments Corp., which provides electronic payment options to governments. It can be reached through a link on the city Web page,, or at Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover cards are accepted, and confirmation numbers are provided upon payment. Internet users have the option of printing a receipt.
