Carrie Anne LaMere of Crown Point, Ind., and Keith David Carpenter of Juneau were married on June 27, 2003, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Crown Point, Ind. A reception immediately followed at the historic Hall of Justice in Crown Point where John Dillinger broke out of jail.
Carrie is the daughter of Richard and Arlene LaMere. She is a graduate of Purdue University's School of Veterinary Medicine and is employed as a veterinarian for Southlake Animal Hospital.
Keith is the son of Dr. Bennie F. Carpenter and the late Myrna Jean Carpenter. He is a graduate of Western Illinois University and is employed as a digital photo specialist at Burrell Professional Labs.
The maid of honor was Mardee Adair, sister of the bride, and the bridesmaid was Aimee Adams, another sister of the bride. Carrie's daughter, Maridee Krampen, was the flower girl.
The best men were Kevin, Kent and Kurt Carpenter, brothers of the groom, and the ushers were Dan LaMere, brother of the bride, and Connor Krampen, son of the bride. The ring bearers were Joseph and Matthew Krampen, sons of the bride.
The couple enjoyed their honeymoon while fishing and camping at Lake Michigan in South Haven, Mich. They will make home on Hermit's Lake in Crown Point, Ind.
