Andi Story works hard for Juneau school children. She has served on the Juneau School Board for three years. A mother of three children, Andi also volunteers in the classroom. Recognizing that a key part of creating a decent education for our children is sufficient funding, Andi is a co-founder and a steering committee member of Alaska Kids Count Network, a statewide, grassroots group lobbying for increased funding for schools. Andi always is there, whether it's a School Board meeting, a legislative hearing on education, an Assembly meeting on the school budget, or a site council meeting at the school she represents.

Andi is a thoughtful, informed advocate for Juneau school children. As a parent and site council representative, she understands the challenges facing Juneau's schools. She also is knowledgeable regarding the school district budget and how these dollars relates to classroom needs, balancing whether new textbooks can be afforded while still maintaining reasonable class sizes. Andi can be trusted to make good choices on behalf of Juneau school children. Please join me in voting on Oct. 3 to re-elect Andi Story to the School Board.
