Nave selected for judge's slot on Juneau District Court

Gov. Sean Parnell tapped Juneau attorney Thomas Nave t fill a vacant seat on the Juneau District Court Friday, according to a press release from the governor's office.

Nave graduated from the Northwestern School of Law at Lewis And Clark College in Portland, Ore. and earned his bachelor's degree from Oregon State University in Corvallis. He has been in Juneau since 1976, save for one year in the public defender's office in Fairbanks.

Parnell chose Nave over four other applicants for the seat.
