"Hearts in Atlantis," (PG-13) starts Friday and shows nightly at 7 at Glacier Cinemas, with second shows Friday and Saturday at 9:10 and matinees at 2 and 4:10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Dance

Theater

"Proof," at Perseverance Theatre. Regular shows are 7:30 p.m. Thursdays, 8 p.m. Friday and Saturdays, and 6 p.m. Sundays. Final show on Sunday, Oct. 7, is at 2 p.m. Tickets $22 for Friday and Saturday shows, $17 for Thursday and Sunday shows, and $4 less for students and seniors; available at Hearthside Books and Perseverance Theatre.

Exhibits

"Quilts of Alaska: A Textile Album of the Last Frontier" exhibit ends Saturday at the Alaska State Museum.

"Looking Forward, Looking Back: An Alaska State Museum Centennial Exhibition," at the Alaska State Museum, 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. daily.

Watercolors by Alice Teersteg, exhibition at the Big Picture, the gallery at Lyle's Home Furnishings; opens with a reception from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Big Picture.
