iah Baguiran, 8, second from right, laughs as Tristin Lewis, 8, right, cringes next to a coho salmon Friday at Campbell Creek in Anchorage. The fish is part of the Alaska Fish and Game Stream Program, which teaches students about the life cycle, biology, habitat requirements and anatomy of salmon. Students in the program take fertilized eggs from the salmon back to their classrooms, where they will watch the eggs hatch over the winter. They plan then to release the fry into a local lake this spring.
