To all the parents with small children walking to the bus stop in the morning, please encourage them not to take animals to the bus stop, especially when they don't belong to them. Thanks to the lady who brought my kitty home from the bus stop two blocks away.

Having recently attended open house at Dzantik'i Heeni we couldn't help but notice that many classrooms had small refrigerators, coffee makers, microwave ovens, etc. It seems to me these items, in addition to the computers we saw left on, would add up to a serious electricity bill, and that's just one school. Who is minding the store?

People that think that you could just shoot a black bear with a rubber bullet, or spray mace in its face, or sing a loud song, or whistle a song, obviously haven't spent much time with wild black bears. Every year several people are mauled and killed by wild black bears. Singing a loud song isn't going to help much.
