Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Driving while intoxicated:

Frank Kriletich, 39, was arrested for drunken driving at 8:40 p.m. Thursday near Vanderbilt Hill Road. He also was charged with misdemeanor misconduct with a controlled substance and lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center. The vehicle was impounded.

Paul Rodriguez, 21, was arrested for drunken driving at 2:58 a.m. today near Mendenhall Loop Road. He also was charged with misdemeanor misconduct with a controlled substance and cited for speeding. He was lodged at the state prison and the vehicle was impounded.

Thefts:

Police responded to a report at 11:45 a.m. Thursday near Floyd Dryden Middle School that a black and red duffle bag was stolen from the locker room.

A man, 19, was arrested for larceny at 11:46 a.m. Thursday near Front Street. He was lodged at the state prison.

A girl, 15, was arrested at 6:22 p.m. Thursday near Glacier Highway for concealment of merchandise. She also was charged with theft. She was released to Cornerstone.

Vehicle accidents:

Police cited a man, 44, at 2:02 p.m. Thursday near Glacier Highway for failure to maintain a safe distance following a two-vehicle accident. The man was driving a Chevy pickup when it struck a Subaru driven by a man, 47. The pickup sustained $1,500 in damage while the Subaru sustained $5,000 in damage.

Hit-and-run incidents:

A woman reported at 2:14 p.m. Thursday near West Willoughby Avenue that her vehicle hat been struck by an unknown vehicle while parked in a parking lot.

Animal encounters:

Bears were reported Thursday at 9:45 a.m. near Leslie Avenue, 9:25 p.m. near Tournure Street, 9:41 p.m. near Distin Avenue, 9:53 p.m. near Ninth Street, 10:04 p.m. near Glacier Highway and today at 12:30 a.m. near Stephen Richards Memorial Drive, 1:28 a.m. near Glendale Street, and 2:25 a.m. near Village Street.

Other:

A man was arrested for disorderly conduct at 12:31 a.m. Friday near South Franklin Street. He was lodged at the state prison.
