Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
Drunken driving:
Police arrested Kevin Foster, 49, at 8:51 p.m. Thursday on Egan Drive on charges of drunken driving, refusing a breath test and driving without a license. They transported him to the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and impounded the vehicle he was driving.
Police arrested Owen Clark, 44, at 9:45 p.m. Thursday on Wickersham Avenue on a charge of drunken driving. They transported him to the state prison and impounded the vehicle he was driving.
Assault:
A man, 28, was arrested at 3:10 a.m. Saturday in the Mendenhall Valley on a charge of domestic violence assault. He was lodged at state prison.
Underage drinking:
A man, 18, was cited at 5 a.m. Saturday near Trafalgar Avenue on a charge of underage drinking. He was arrested on an outstanding troopers warrant for failure to appear in court and was lodged at the state prison.
Traffic accidents:
Police found a Toyota Corolla at 9:23 a.m. Thursday submerged in a pond in Cope Park after getting a report from the owner. They removed the car from the water. The car was a total loss. No injuries were reported.
At 4:30 p.m. Friday near Egan Drive a 2003 Dodge Caravan driven by a man, 35, struck a bicyclist in a parking lot. No one was injured.
At 4:45 p.m. Friday near Glacier Avenue a 1997 Toyota Camry driven by a man, 81, struck a 2001 Chevy Cavalier driven by a woman, 63. A 73-year-old passenger in the Toyota was taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital for evaluation. The 81-year-old was cited on a charge of failure to yield.
At 5:30 p.m. Friday near Egan Drive and Vanderbilt Hill Road a 1996 Toyota truck driven by a woman, 25, struck a 1998 Chevy driven by a woman, 28. The 25-year-old was cited on a charge of failing to yield. The Toyota had $1,000 damage, the Chevy $500 damage.
At 8:10 p.m. Friday near Front Street a 1991 Chevy truck driven by a man, 56, struck a pedestrian, a woman, 41. The woman declined medical attention.
Hit and run:
A woman reported at 2:47 p.m. Thursday that her Toyota Tercel was damaged by a gray Chevy Avalanche while parked near Glacier Highway. The woman reported scratches to the rear bumper and said the brakes were not working properly.
Traffic stops:
Police cited a man, 21, at 11:18 p.m. Thursday on Glacier Highway alleging he was driving without a license. Police released the man but impounded the vehicle.
Theft:
A man reported at 2:57 p.m. Thursday that his Mendenhall Loop Road residence was burglarized. Antique items valued at about $550 were reportedly stolen.
A woman reported the theft of a Nokia cellular telephone at 5:06 p.m. Thursday near Glacier Highway. The telephone was valued at $100.
At 2:30 a.m. Saturday near Industrial Boulevard a black Motorola M1225 radio, valued at $500, and a $25 spotlight were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle.
Vandalism:
A woman reported that her delivery vehicles were vandalized at a 1:25 p.m. Thursday near Jensine Street. One tire was slashed on each of the vehicles. No damage estimate was available.
A woman reported at 2:57 p.m. Thursday a BB had shot out a window near Churchill way during the past week.
Disorderly conduct:
Police arrested a man, 26, at 12:51 a.m. Friday on South Franklin Street on a charge of disorderly conduct. They transported him to the state prison.
Police arrested a man, 31, at 2:45 a.m. Friday on a charge of disorderly conduct on West Willoughby Avenue. They transported him to the state prison.
A man, 19, was arrested at 1:30 a.m. Saturday near South Franklin Street on a charge of disorderly conduct. He was taken to the state prison.
Animal encounters:
A bus reportedly stuck a bear at 6:54 a.m. Friday on Lee Drive. The bear was believed to be injured, but it left the area, police reported. At 10 a.m. Friday, a bear was reported getting into litter near Lemon Creek Road.
