Lifelong Juneau resident Thomas Willis Peters, 67, died Sept. 24, 2004, at his home.
He was born June 25, 1937, in Juneau to Thomas Willis and Marie Peters. He was of the Raven and Gaanaaxteidee clan.
He was a fisherman and worked as a taxi driver and dispatcher for the Capital Cab Company. His family said fishing was his lifelong hobby.
He is survived by sisters, Mable Pike of Anchorage, and Helen Sarabia and Elsie Brown, both of Juneau; son, Thomas L. Peters of Juneau; daughters, Wilma Peters and Threase Finkbonner of Auburn, Wash., and Josephine Finkbonner of La Conner, Wash.; grandchildren, Nikaya Peters of Auburn, Wash., Beyunko Peacher of Arizona, Ali Peacher of Wyoming, Dora Finkbonner of Auburn, Wash., Joseph, Sah-ja-halth and Courtney Finkbonner of La Conner, Wash.; and great-grandchild, Jahrel Cayou of Auburn, Wash.
A viewing will be held at 1 p.m. Sept. 28, 2004, at the Alaskan Memorial Park Mortuary. A memorial will be held from 6:30-8 p.m. Sept. 30, at Tlingit & Haida, located at 3 mile.
