JUNEAU - U.S. Sen. Lisa Murkowski is calling Republican rival Joe Miller a flip-flopper when it comes to his political home.
Her campaign, citing voting records, says that over the last decade, Miller has switched between registering as an undeclared, non-partisan and Republican voter.
Miller defeated Murkowski in last month's GOP primary. Currently a registered Republican, he has won support from within the tea party movement and state GOP.
Murkowski has mounted a write-in campaign to try to keep her job. She is a lifelong Republican running a campaign that she says seeks to be inclusive of Alaskans from all political persuasions.
Miller spokesman Randy DeSoto says Miller has been a loyal conservative. He says Murkowski betrayed the Republican party and voters by running as a write-in against the chosen GOP nominee.
