Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Driving while intoxicated:

Shortly before 2 p.m. Thursday, police responded to a report of a vehicle in a ditch on Glacier Highway. Virgil Bradley, 39, was arrested for drunken driving and for driving with a blood-alcohol level greater than 0.10 percent. Bradley was taken to the Lemon Creek Correctional Center. The vehicle was impounded.

Assaults:

At 11 a.m. Thursday, police responded to a report of a fight on South Franklin Street. A man, 34, was arrested for assault and lodged at state prison. Alcohol was involved.

Police responded about 6:30 a.m. today to the report of a fight at 8th Street and Basin Road. No one was in the area when they arrived.

About 6:30 a.m. today, police responded to the report of a domestic dispute in Douglas. Official assistance was not needed.

Thefts, lost and found items:

About 9 a.m. Thursday, a man, 39, reported several items from stolen from his unlocked vehicle on Ferry Way. Missing were a yellow Shockwave Panasonic CD player (worth $120); a black Diawa salmon rod ($50); a black and silver Penn reel ($100); a black and silver Star trout rod ($20); a black Shimano reel; and 20 CDs in a black vinyl CD wallet ($200).

About 2 p.m. Thursday, woman, 32, brought to the Juneau Police Department a cell phone she had found downtown behind the Fireweed Shop.

Hazard to public:

About 3:15 p.m. Thursday, a red 1987 Dodge Colt was impounded near the intersection of Fifth and Harris streets because it was leaking gasoline. The responding officer put down pads to absorb the fuel.

Animal encounters:

About 8:30 p.m. Thursday, police received a report of a bear at Kodzoff Mobile Home Park I.

About 9 p.m. Thursday, police received a report of a bear at the Mount Roberts Tram parking lot.

Shortly after 9 p.m. Thursday, police received a report of a bear in the 2500 block of Douglas Highway.

Half an hour after midnight Thursday, police received a report of a bear on Threadneedle Street.

Half an hour after midnight Thursday, police received a report of a bear on Stephen Richards Memorial Drive.

About 6 a.m. today, police received a report of a bear on Diane Road.

About 6:45 a.m. today, police received a report of a bear on Hamilton Street.

Other:

About 9 a.m. Thursday, police arrested a woman, 21, on Mendenhall Loop Road on an outstanding Alaska State Trooper warrant. She was lodged at state prison. The original charge was not satisfying a court-ordered adolescent program.
