Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Driving while intoxicated:

Jose Franco-Garcia, 53, was arrested for drunken driving at 10:19 p.m. near South Franklin Street. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Hoyt Galvin, 45, was arrested for drunken driving at 3:15 a.m. Saturday near Front Street and Main Street. He was lodged at the state prison and his vehicle was released to a licensed driver.

Assaults:

Police arrested a man, 36, for domestic violence assault at 6:26 a.m. Saturday in the Lemon Creek area.

Vandalism and criminal mischief:

Police responded to a report at 10:19 p.m. Friday near Meadow Lane of a driver's side rear window broken on a Buick Lesabre.

Underage drinking:

A boy, 16, was cited for underage drinking at 5:29 p.m. Friday near Behrends Avenue. He was lodged at Johnson Youth Center and then put into the custody of his probation officer.

A girl, 13, was cited for underage drinking at 10:26 p.m. at the police station after she was brought in for a breathalyzer test. She was released to her parents.

A woman, 19, was cited for underage drinking at 12:07 a.m. Saturday near Mendenhall Mall Road.

Police cited a boy, 17, at 4:28 a.m. Saturday near Douglas Highway for underage drinking.

Vehicle accidents:

Police cited a man, 49, for failure to stop at a red light at 11:12 a.m. Friday near Riverside Drive and Egan Drive following a two vehicle accident. The man driving a Ford van struck a Chevrolet pickup driven by a woman, 67. The van sustained $3,000 in damage while the pickup sustained $2,500. The van was privately towed.

Police cited a man, 24, for careless driving and driving with his license revoked at 1:51 a.m. Saturday near Loop Road and Nancy Avenue following a one-vehicle accident. No injuries were reported. Estimates of damage to his vehicle are unknown

Animal encounters:

Bears were reported Friday at 6:45 p.m. near Hospital Drive, 8:45 p.m. near Willoughby Avenue, 8:57 p.m. near David Street, 10:08 p.m. near Delta Drive, 11 p.m. near Sixth Street and 11:24 p.m. near Willoughby Avenue.

Bears were reported Saturday at 12:43 a.m. near Evergreen Cemetery, 12:58 a.m. near Glacier Way, 1:51 a.m. near Delta Drive, 2:24 a.m. near Amalga Street, 3:46 a.m. near Glacier Highway and 4:51 a.m. near Decker Way.

Other:

A woman, 39, was cited and released for disturbing the peace at 3:50 a.m. Saturday near Steelhead Street and Mendenhall Loop Road.

Domestic violence calls: 1.

Alcohol-related calls: 8.
