Knapp best choice for tough times

Juneau faces a difficult choice ahead in the race for mayor. We are fortunate to have two strong, attractive and highly qualified candidates seeking this office. Daunting times lie ahead as our city faces certain growth in the face of declining revenues from state and federal sources. All city programs and activities should expand only in direct relationship to growth in the tax base. Dick Knapp is a proven leader who offers a strong conservative voice and unquestioned leadership skills. He will capably guide our city through the challenging years ahead. I urge all thinking citizens of Juneau to vote wisely and elect Dick Knapp as our new mayor.
