JRPC holds target comp

On what started as a cool, windy Sunday morning, six members of Juneau Rifle & Pistol Club saw the day warm, become partly sunny and have the wind turn to minor gusts during their Sept. 26 target competition. Three members shot a 50-shot conventional, 200-yard Hi-Power event from four positions; one woman shot a 32-round, hunter rifle, four position 200-yard event, while two marksmen fired a 40-shot, “F” class prone-supported, 300-yard event.

Winners were Brad Flynn, “F” class prone event; Linda Flynn was the hunter rifle winner while Mal Menzies won the 200-yard convention, service/match rifle event.
