Alaska National Army Guardsmen Master Sgt. Kelly Kohnen, left, and Blackhawk helicopter crew chief Art Honen say farewell as Honen prepares to board a flight Wednesday at the Juneau Airport. Honen, along with six other Juneau Guardsmen and about 70 Alaska Army Guardsmen, are preparing to deploy to Kosovo after training at Fort Stewart, Ga., for a NATO peacekeeping mission. The deployment, which will last one year, is the largest overseas deployment of the Alaska Army National Guard since World War II.
