A bear was seen about 7:30 a.m. Monday near Mendenhall Loop Road.

Drunken driving:
Annmarie Dick, 32, was arrested on a charge of drunken driving shortly before 1 a.m. Monday on Franklin Street. Her car was impounded and Dick was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
Vandalism:
A home in the 3700 block of Killewich Drives was reported vandalized shortly before 3 p.m. Sunday. The cost of the damage was unknown.
Vandals damaged a gate and heavy machinery on Crow Hill Drive, according to a report at about 7:10 a.m. Monday. The cost of the damage was unknown.
At about 8:40 a.m. Monday, police received a report that graffiti was sprayed in Cope Park, causing about $200 in damage.
Police received a report at about 10:10 a.m. Monday that a mailbox, worth $50, was vandalized in the 1900 block of Lemon Creek Road.
At about 10:15 a.m. Monday, police received a report that vandals sprayed graffiti on a building in the 100 block of Seward Street. The cost of the damage was unknown.
