Juneau police and fire officials and state police reported:

Vandalism:

• At about 1:40 p.m. Tuesday, a 48-year-old man reported that his mailbox was vandalized in the 2900 block of Douglas Highway.

Hit and run:

• At about 1 p.m. Tuesday, a 39-year-old man reported that his vehicle was hit by another vehicle on Second Street.

Theft:

• At about 3:40 p.m. Tuesday, a 20-year-old woman reported that her cell phone was stolen in the Juneau area.

• At about 4 p.m. Tuesday, a 15-year-old girl reported that her iPod was stolen at the 1600 block of Glacier Avenue.

• At about 3:40 a.m. Wednesday, a 28-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman reported a theft on Front Street.

Child abuse/neglect:

• At about a 9:20 a.m. Wednesday, Juneau police reported that a citation was issued in a child abuse/neglect case in the 1000 block of Salmon Creek Lane.
