Fairbanks drug dealer accepts plea deal, will be out by Christmas

FAIRBANKS - A Fairbanks man who pleaded guilty to drug charges has been sentenced to a decade in prison, but nine of those years are suspended.

Counting time for good behavior, 46-year-old Barry Presley will be out of prison by Christmas.

Presley pleaded guilty to conspiracy to deal cocaine and possession of oxycodone, a powerful pain reliever. Other misdemeanor charges were dropped as part of a plea agreement with prosecutors.

Presley will be on probation for five years.
