Vote to manage tourism

Letter to the editor

Tuesday's city election gives us a chance to help shape the future of downtown Juneau. The continuing growth of tourism, managing its impacts of congestion and noise, and the waterfront plan are among the important issues the Assembly will be addressing in coming years.

Jeff Bush and Randy Wanamaker have both expressed commitment to managing tourism impacts to protect and enhance our community's core and character. That's why I'll be voting for them on Tuesday.
