Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
Assaults:
A 47-year-old woman, was arrested for fourth-degree assault at 1:30 p.m. Friday near Ninnis Drive. She was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
A woman, 22, was arrested for assault at 12:08 a.m. Saturday near Mendenhall Loop. She was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
A 33-year-old man, was placed under citizens arrest for second degree assault near Front Street at 2:46 a.m. Saturday. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
Vehicle accidents:
Police received a 12:41 p.m. Thursday report of a vehicle collision at 12th Street and C Street. A 1995 Saturn driven by a woman, 43, was struck by a 1992 Chevy truck driven by a 16-year-old male. The Saturn sustained about $1,000 in damage. No damage to the Chevy truck was reported.
A 45-year-old woman reported at 12:51 p.m. Thursday that her 2000 Toyota MR2 was hit by an unknown vehicle between 12 and 1 p.m. Thursday on Glacier Highway. A damage estimate was not available.
A 45-year-old female reported at 8:19 p.m. Friday witnessing a small maroon pickup back into a parked 1987 Honda Civic at the downtown Tesoro gas station and leave the scene. The damage was reported at $1,500.
Drunk driving
Mark D. Wendling, 39, was arrested for drunk driving and driving with a revoked license at 1:27 a.m. Saturday at Mendenhall Loop. His vehicle was impounded and he was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
Michael Nye, 46, was arrested at 7:25 p.m. for driving while intoxicated on Industrial Boulevard. He was lodged at Lemon Creek.
Driving without a license:
A 27-year-old man, was cited at 12:21 p.m. Friday near Evergreen Cemetery and Seater Street for driving without a valid drivers license and his vehicle was impounded.
A 15-year-old male was cited and released at 12:07 a.m. Saturday for driving without a license near Renninger Drive. The vehicle was released to his father.
Theft
A 30-year-old female reported at 1:16 p.m. Friday that her wallet and checkbook were stolen approximately 20 minutes earlier from an unoccupied room near Glacier Ave.
A 35-year-old man reported at 6:17 p.m. Friday the theft of a generator from his Douglas Highway property .
Bear complaints
A bear was reported getting into garbage on Gull Way in Juneau at 2 a.m. Friday. The bear was gone upon the arrival of law enforcement. The owner was directed to clean up the trash.
A non-aggressive bear was spotted at 9:19 p.m. Friday wandering around John Street.
A sow and two cubs were spotted at 10:14 p.m. Friday getting into trash on Granite Street.
Minor consuming:
A woman, 19, and a 16-year-old female were cited and released for minor consuming of alcohol after a noise complaint was reported at 2:59 a.m. Friday near Glacier Highway.
A 19-year-old woman was cited and released for minor consuming at 9:25 p.m. Friday near Glacier Highway.
After responding to a 7:51 p.m. Friday weapons call on Glacier Highway, police cited and released an 18-year-old man for minor in possession of alcohol.
After responding to a 9:19 p.m. Friday report of suspicious activity on Steep Place, police cited and released two 18-year-old men, a 20-year-old man, a 19-year-old man and two 15-year-old males for minor consuming.
Vandalism:
A 52-year-old man reported at 3:43 p.m. Thursday that his 1994 Ford truck was vandalized at some point two weeks ago at Juneau-Douglas High School. A damage estimate was not available.
A 41-year-old female reported at 3:01 p.m. Friday that a tire was slashed on her Chevrolet Silverado truck on Sept. 23 on Mendenhall Loop causing $280 in damage.
A 38-year-old male reported at 8:44 a.m. Saturday the slashing of two tires on his Dodge Intrepid on Stephen Richards Memorial Drive. The damage cost was unknown.
Lost property:
A 64-year-old male reported at 9:26 a.m. Saturday a misplaced Sony camcorder last seen in a green carrying case with accessories at West Willoughby Ave. The items were valued at $990.
