Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Sound off on the important issues at

Driving without a license

• A 31-year-old female was cited and released at 5:44 a.m. Sunday for driving without a license. Her car was impounded.

Drunken driving

• Police arrested Jared James, 24, at 12:10 a.m. Sunday for driving while intoxicated. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center and his car was impounded.


• A 37-year-old woman reported at 3:15 p.m. Sunday that a bike worth $75 was stolen from her porch on the 900 block of Berners Avenue.

• A 30-year-old male reported at 4:08 p.m. Sunday that a 27-gallon gas can worth $270 was stolen from his boat.


• Vandalism of a mail box was reported at 5:44 p.m. Sunday on the 300 block of N. Douglas Highway.

• Vandalism of two restroom buildings was reported 7:54 a.m. Sunday on Savikko Road.

Animal encounters:

• A bear was reported at 12:10 p.m. Sunday on the 400 block of Kanata Street.

Calls related to domestic violence: 0.
