Photo: First landing on hospital's new helipad

A helicopter touches down Tuesday for the inaugural landing on Bartlett Regional Hospital's new helipad, located on the building's new wing. The unique helicopter pad includes an integral fire suppression system, a de-icing system, radio control of building air-intake louvers that close as a helicopter approaches, and a special structural system to absorb and distribute the weight of a landing helicopter.
