Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:


About 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, a woman, 34, reported her wallet stolen from her vehicle in the Marine Park parking garage.

About 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, an older red van left Gas N Go without paying for $6.56 in fuel.

Vandalism and criminal mischief:

Shortly before 4 p.m. Tuesday, a man, 29, reported his 1996 BMW 740 keyed sometime during the last two days at Canton House.

Vehicle accidents:

About 7:15 a.m. Tuesday, police responded to the report of a rollover accident on Egan Drive outbound near Channel Drive. A man, 58, was driving a 1994 Jeep Cherokee. There were no injuries. Damage to the Jeep was estimated at $7,000.

About 7:25 a.m. Tuesday, a man, 29, lost control on the icy roadway of Glacier Highway and slid into the ditch. His Ford Crown Victoria suffered $4,500 damage.

Shortly before 8 a.m. Tuesday, a blue Subaru station wagon spun out at the McNugget intersection and struck a light pole. Police responded to the report, but were unable to locate the vehicle.

Shortly before 8 a.m. Tuesday, a woman, 53, reported her Nissan Sentra rear-ended near Alaway Avenue by a white Ford van. Drivers exchanged information.

A minute before 8 a.m. Tuesday, a woman, 29, operating a Suzuki Sidekick was involved in a collision with a Ford pickup on Brotherhood Bridge. The Suzuki suffered $4,000 damage and was towed from the scene. The pickup suffered $2,000 damage.

Shortly before 9 a.m. Tuesday, police responded to the report of a vehicle in the Mendenhall Wetlands. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

Shortly before 10 a.m. Tuesday, a woman, 51, lost control of her 2000 Chevy Tracker on ice near Auke Bay and rolled into the ditch. The vehicle was totaled.

Shortly before 3 p.m. Tuesday, a woman, 40, was cited for careless driving when her 1999 Toyota collided with a 1992 Ford Mustang on Egan Drive inbound.

Hit-and-run incidents:

Shortly after 6 p.m. Tuesday, police received a report of a hit-and-run on Glacier Highway. The collision caused minor damage to a Buick Skylark.

Animal encounters:

About 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, police received a report of two small bears getting into empty garbage cans in the vicinity of the Inn at the Waterfront.

Shortly before 10 p.m. Tuesday, police received a report of a bear on Birch Lane getting into garbage.

Crime Line

Juneau Crime Line Inc. is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest or indictment of the person or people responsible for a theft reported to the Juneau Police Department on July 27. The incident occurred at a Front Street business. Stolen was about $1,500 cash missing from one of the cash boxes inside the business' safe. Signs of forced entry into the business or the safe were not apparent.
