Tigers fight back to upend the Warriors 19-12

The Tigers rallied from a 12-6 deficit to earn a 19-12 win over the Warriors in a Juneau Youth Football League Junior Division battle last weekend at Adair-Kennedy Memorial Park.

Gary Speck rushed for two touchdowns and added a one-point conversion and Wepi Maka scampered 73 yards for the Tigers' third score.

Ryan Braman and Kohl Jaeger added TD runs for the Warriors.

CUB DIVISION

Wildcats 12, Titans 6

Demetrius Campos rushed for touchdowns of 69 and 52 yards as the Wildcats doubled-up the Titans.

Dorian Isaak had a 38-yard TD run for the Titans' lone score.

Seahawks 13, Cowboys 6

Tanner Petrie rushed for a touchdown and a one-point conversion as the Seahawks nipped the Cowboys.

Gus Swanton had a 19-yard TD run in the win.

For the Cowboys, Brady Mallinger ran 15 yards into the end zone.

JUNIOR DIVISION

Huskies 33, Sitka Storm 0

Alex Matheson scored three rushing touchdowns and a one-point conversion as the Huskies blanked Sitka.

Matheson had TD runs of 9, 20 and 46 yards in the win while Daniel Nore and Matt Vandor added TDs in the win.

Vandor added a one-point run and Dylan Skryzinski completed a one-point conversion pass to Villi Tupou for the Huskies.

Hurricanes 6, Red Raiders 0

Cameron Fronimos' 14-yard touchdown run proved the difference as the Hurricanes nipped the Red Raiders in a defensive battle.

SENIOR DIVISION

Cougars 32, Sitka Storm 0

Three players scored touchdowns for the Cougars in a shutout victory over Sitka.

Mathew Maka had two TDs while Chris Hoffman rushed for another in the win.

Chris Holloway completed a 10-yard TD pass to Luis Garcia for the Cougars.

Also for the Cougars, Hoffman completed a two-point conversion pass to Randy Segelhorst.
