Because of inaccurate information provided to the Juneau Empire, a Tuesday story on the fluoride ballot initiative contained an incorrect statement about dental services. The Southeast Alaska Regional Health Consortium has not received a new grant that allows any child who does not qualify for Medicaid to receive dental services. Tribal citizens and non-Natives who qualify for Denali KidCare can receive pediatric dental services from SEARHC. Denali KidCare is an income-based program through the state.

A caption for an A1 photo in Wednesday's Empire inaccurately described what Juneau Assembly District 2 candidates were doing in the photo. Dixie Hood was giving Randy Wanamaker a bag of lemon drops for his throat.
