Because of inaccurate information provided to the Juneau Empire, a Tuesday story on the fluoride ballot initiative contained an incorrect statement about dental services. The Southeast Alaska Regional Health Consortium has not received a new grant that allows any child who does not qualify for Medicaid to receive dental services. Tribal citizens and non-Natives who qualify for Denali KidCare can receive pediatric dental services from SEARHC. Denali KidCare is an income-based program through the state.
