ANCHORAGE - A 66-year-old Anchorage man has been arrested in the 2007 death of his wife.
James Wease was indicted by a grand jury Thursday and arrested Friday. He's been charged with first- and second-degree murder and three counts of tampering with evidence.
He's charged with killing 43-year-old Dana Wease. She was reported missing on Nov. 14, 2007, by her family when she didn't show up for work.
Her body was found two weeks later in Turnagain Pass. Police have not released details of her death.
The Anchorage Daily News reported it was not immediately clear what led police to file charges against James Wease nearly two years after the murder.
