The person who was complaining about the Celebration 2000 poster being up at the Chapel by the Lake while they were voting should realize that Chapel by the Lake is a church first and a polling place second.
To the PFD office: First of all, you lost my electronic file. Second of all, I sent my statement in over a month ago and you haven't responded, and it's impossible to get through to anyone on the phone. Somebody needs to do something.
To the person who was offended by the sign at the Chapel by the Lake: One, that sign was not put up only for the voters benefit; this is a place of worship. Two, this is not a "Chapel" function, this also includes many churches from all over Juneau and Douglas. And three, if you don't like voting in a church, vote absentee ballot or go somewhere else to vote.
Thanks Mr. Farmer for all you did to change the mayor's election, it worked.
The road, it's time to put this issue to rest. If you want to be able to drive out, please live somewhere else.
Looks like the pro-road people who called us "a very vocal liberal minority" that opposes the road, seems like that vocal minority has spoken up and seem to be a vocal majority.
