Members of the Tlingit Kiksadi clan stand on the site of a Tlingit fort attacked by Russians in the Battle of 1804 in Sitka. Russians drove out the Tlingits in the battle and established the town of New Archangel, capital of Russian America, in the area. The grief ceremony over the weekend mourned the loss of ancestors killed in the conflict. From left are Al Duncan, Kiksadi clan leader Ray Wilson and Tom Farquhar.
