Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Theft:

• A laptop computer was reported stolen at 1:50 p.m. Monday near Marine Way downtown.

Vandalism:

• At 8:05 a.m. Tuesday, a building was reported vandalized in the 5400 block of Shaune Drive in the Lemon Creek area.

• At 10:43 a.m. Tuesday, a fence was reported spray-painted in the 1700 block of Glacier Avenue downtown.

Hit and run:

• At 1:08 p.m. Monday, a 2003 Subaru was reported struck while parked in the 100 block of Egan Drive downtown.

Traffic stop:

• Police impounded a vehicle at 1:08 p.m. Monday on inbound Egan Drive in the Lemon Creek area after citing the driver, a 21-year-old man, on a charge of driving without a license.

Lost property:

• A .45-caliber firearm was reported lost at 7:33 a.m. Tuesday in the Echo Cove area.

Animal encounters:

• A bear was reported getting into trash at 7:33 a.m. Tuesday in the Echo Cove area. A bear was reported trying to get into a secure garbage container in the 3100 block of Indian Cove Drive in the Auke Bay area. Bears were reported at 12:13 p.m. Monday on South Franklin Street downtown and at 1:18 p.m. Monday near Gastineau Avenue downtown.
