Occupation: Auk Quan Tribal elder

Years as a survivor: 26 years

"It was pretty rough because of my age ... It helps if you have a good a doctor. I had a very good doctor and my family just fell in love with him. What kept me going is that I didn't want my children to see how bad I was. My mother said I kept up a good front ... I think having my family around me too is what helped me."
