ANCHORAGE - The Democratic gubernatorial ticket of Ethan Berkowitz and Diane Benson have an edge in fundraising since the August primary, according to numbers submitted Monday to the Alaska Public Offices Commission.
Berkowitz, the gubernatorial nominee, and Benson, the lieutenant governor nominee, report raising $208,002 from 997 contributors.
The figures were reported in an APOC report required 30 days before the election and due at midnight Monday.
Gov. Sean Parnell, who's seeking to hold on to the office he filled after the resignation of Sarah Palin, and GOP lieutenant governor nominee Mead Treadwell report they have raised more than $181,000 since the primary.
They report together raising $750,000 overall but they did not say in a press release how much of that was spent in the primary.
