Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
About 2:15 p.m. Thursday, a woman, 38, was arrested in downtown Juneau for domestic violence assault. Alcohol was involved. The woman was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
About 11 p.m. Thursday, police responded to the report of a domestic dispute in West Juneau. Alcohol was involved. A woman, 23, was arrested for assault. She was lodged at state prison.
Thefts, lost and found items:
A woman, 29, reported shortly before 10 a.m. Thursday that her black Nokia cell phone had been lost somewhere in Juneau. There were no leads or suspects.
Both the police and Capital City Fire & Rescue responded to a multi-vehicle accident about 6:30 p.m. Thursday on Glacier Highway near the ferry terminal. A Buick rear-ended a Ford pickup. Each vehicle sustained $3,000 damage. The driver of the Buick, a girl, 16, was cited for careless driving. She was transported to Bartlett Regional Hospital. She was treated for neck strain and released from the emergency department within an hour of arrival.
Shortly before 11 p.m. Thursday, a man, 26, was arrested on Level D of the Marine Park parking garage on an outstanding Juneau Police Department warrant citing failure to appear and failure to register as a sexual offender. He was transported to state prison. Alcohol was involved.
About 11:30 p.m. Thursday, police received a complaint of a bear near Faith Lutheran Church.
About 4 a.m. today, police received a report of two bears in the Marine Park parking garage. The bears were persuaded with firecrackers to leave.
About 11:30 a.m. Thursday, police stopped a white dump truck on Back Loop Road. The truck did not have a rear license plate.
About 11:30 p.m. Thursday, a man, 32, was cited on Egan Drive outbound for driving without a valid operator's license. His vehicle was impounded.
