Fence needed to curb illegal immigration

I'm so discouraged that Don Young voted against House Resolution 6061. The border fence is not just a way to curb illegal immigration, but a matter of national security.

Sound off on the important issues at

As you may know, the number of "other than Mexicans" caught crossing the border has jumped from 49,545 in 2003 to 155,000 last year.

Five years after 9/11, this is totally unacceptable. In fact, it was totally unacceptable 20 years ago, when illegal immigrants were stealing my work and I was collecting unemployment because the illegals were taking the available jobs by working for less than half of what I was earning, not paying taxes and using our medical services and schools for free.

And Young does not support a fence? What is wrong with his brain? How much was he paid to make this decision? I am very disappointed.
