• On Sept. 23, 2006, a son, Branden Nakamura, weighing 8 pounds 15 ounces, to Julia May James and Alfred Nakamura of Juneau.

• On Sept. 25, 2006, a daughter, Hadley Mae Wiederspohn, weighing 7 pounds 9 ounces, to Pamela Eileen Wiederspohn and Jeffrey Allan Wiederspohn of Juneau.

Courts

Court records show the following legal actions among those taken recently in Juneau Superior and District courts.

Judgments:

• Tammy Grubert, 44, was found guilty of driving under the influence, stemming from a June 16, 2005, incident from which no blood-alcohol level was available. Juneau Superior Court Judge Larry Weeks imposed four months in jail with another 14 months suspended, ordered Grubert to pay $10,000 of which none was suspended, permanently revoked her license and placed her on probation for three years.

• Brandon C. Hammer, 33, was found guilty on two counts of driving under the influence, stemming from a Sept. 13, 2005, incident from which no blood-alcohol level was available. Juneau Superior Court Judge Patricia A. Collins imposed 36 months in jail with another 32 months suspended, ordered Hammer to pay $10,000 of which none was suspended, permanently revoked his license and placed him on probation for five years.

• Norman Vonda, 55, was found guilty of driving under the influence, stemming from a May 20, 2006, incident from which his blood-alcohol level was measured at .189 percent. Judge Collins imposed 60 days in jail with another 65 days suspended, ordered Vonda to pay $4,000 of which none was suspended, revoked his license for three years and placed him on probation for three years.

• Leonard L. Edwards, 30, was found guilty of driving under the influence, stemming from a June 3, 2006, incident from which no blood-alcohol level was available. Judge Collins imposed 60 days in jail with another 60 days suspended, ordered Edwards to pay $3,000 of which none is suspended, revoked his license for one year and placed him on probation for two years.

• Jerry Knapp, 26, was found guilty of driving while intoxicated, stemming from a June 10, 2006, incident from which his blood-alcohol level was measured at .176 percent. Juneau District Court Judge Keith B. Levy imposed six days of jail with another 40 days suspended, ordered Knapp to pay $1,500 of a $3,000 fine with the rest suspended, revoked his license for 90 days and placed him on probation for 18 months.

• Walter Juergens, 22, was found guilty of driving while intoxicated, stemming from a July 2, 2006, incident at which his blood-alcohol level was measured at .112 percent. Judge Levy imposed three days to serve in jail with another 30 days suspended, ordered Edwards to pay $1,500 of a $3,000 fine with the rest suspended, revoked his license for 90 days and placed him on probation for 18 months.

• Jennifer Cahoon, 34, was found guilty of driving under the influence, stemming from a July 3, 2006, incident at which her blood-alcohol level was measured at .231 percent. Judge Levy imposed 60 days to serve in jail with another 210 days suspended, ordered Cahoon to pay $3,000 of a $10,000 fine with the rest suspended, revoked her license for one year and placed her on probation for five years.

• Gabriel Ramos, 27, was found guilty of driving under the influence, stemming from a July 4, 2006, incident from which his blood-alcohol level was measured at .165 percent. Judge Levy imposed 30 days with no days suspended, ordered Ramos to pay $3,000 of which none is suspended and revoked his license for one year.

• Justin Heard, 22, was found guilty of driving while intoxicated, stemming from a July 4, 2006, incident from which his blood-alcohol level was measured at .126 percent. Judge Levy imposed six days in jail with another 54 days suspended, ordered Heard to pay $1,500 of a $3,000 fine with the rest suspended, revoked his license for 90 days and placed him on probation for two years.

• Joshua Hoyer, 41, was found guilty of driving while intoxicated, stemming from a Sept. 24, 2006, incident at which his blood-alcohol level was measured at .120 percent. Judge Levy imposed three days in jail with another 30 days suspended, ordered Hoyer to pay $1,500 of a $3,000 fine with the rest suspended, revoked his license for 90 days and placed him on probation for 18 months.
