Juneau resident: 24 years. Originally from California.
Family: Her husband, Tom, has 11 months survivorship. They have six kids. Her mother, Barbara, also lives in town and is a 50-year cancer survivor.
Hobbies: Boating, fishing, reading, volunteering. Newly retired on July 1.
Kind of cancer: bladder, kidney and cervical. "I felt like cancer of the month club in summer 1997," she said. June, July and August diagnoses were all primaries.
Years surviving: 13 months. "Three primaries for diagnoses, 13 reoccurances, six rounds of chemo - looking good now," she said.
