After watching the presidential debate, I would have to say, Bush appears to have backed himself in a corner. I wonder if he ever gets tired of repeating the same old thing ad naseum. The death of innocents in this country as a result of terrorism always seems to make its way into the conversation.
One point that never appears to be brought up is the fact that this war in Iraq has caused the death of innocent Iraqis directly and indirectly. Indirectly through the actions of the insurgents as a reaction to our action. Is the death of a foreign innocent less important than the death of a U.S. innocent? I think not. I, for one, am ready for a change.
