Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
Domestic violence:
Police arrested a 31-year-old man on charges of domestic-violence assault and interfering with a report of domestic violence at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Lemon Creek area. They lodged him at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
Trespassing:
Police arrested a 26-year-old man on a trespassing charge at 12:01 p.m. Wednesday in the 3400 block of Douglas Highway. They took him to the state prison.
Theft:
A parked vehicle's front blinker assembly was reported stolen at 3:58 p.m. near Coogan Drive in the Lemon Creek area.
Shoplifting:
Police cited a 43-year-old man on a larceny charge after responding to a shoplifting call at 4:36 p.m. Wednesday in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue downtown.
Vehicle accident:
Police cited a 22-year-old man on charges of failing to yield at a left turn and carrying no insurance after an accident at 3:40 p.m. Wednesday on outbound Egan Drive and Willoughby Avenue. The man was driving a Ford Explorer. Damage was estimated at $4,000. The other vehicle in the accident, a 2002 Dodge Intrepid, was driven by a 28-year-old woman. Damage to that vehicle was estimated at $5,000.
Underage drinking:
Police cited a 20-year-old woman and a 20-year-old man on charges of underage drinking at 2:44 a.m. Thursday in the 9000 block of Glacier Highway near the airport. Police also cited a 21-year-old man on a charge of providing alcohol to a minor.
Animal encounters:
A bear was reported trying to get into a freezer at 9:09 p.m. Wednesday in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway in the Lemon Creek area. At 1:09 a.m. Thursday in the same area, a bear was reported trying to get into an enclosed porch. A bear also was reported at 2:24 a.m. Thursday in the 6300 block of Northwood Drive in the Lemon Creek area.
