A 271-foot freight barge, owned by Portland, Ore.-based Zidell Marine Corp., rests Friday on rocks on the northeast side of Summer's Bay near Unalaska. People in a tug boat noticed the barge had broken free of its mooring at 5:30 a.m., according to the Coast Guard. Coast Guard crews inspected the vessel from shore and found damage on the right side of the stern. No pollution has been reported.
