ANCHORAGE - An Anchorage airport police officer remains on duty pending the outcome of his arrest in a prostitution sting.
Chief Lauri Burkmire told the Anchorage Daily News she'll make a decision after any action by prosecutors and the outcome of an internal investigation.
Lt. Daniel Shrader was arrested July 8 by Anchorage police and charged with misdemeanor solicitation of prostitution.
Police say his vehicle was seized and he was cited and released. Lt. Dave Parker says the officer was treated the same as five other men arrested that night.
