InvestNet plans seminar
JUNEAU Alaska InvestNet will host a mid-October seminar in Juneau directed at Alaska entrepreneurs.
InvestNet, a nonprofit statewide capital matching network, will sponsor the seminar Matching Product and Market from 8:30 a.m. to noon Oct. 19 at the Goldbelt Hotel.
InvestNet attempts to match prospective investors with entrepreneurs.
Laura Milner, a professor at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, and Scott Miller, a senior consultant from the McDowell Group, will lead the seminar. They will discuss promotion strategies and how to properly position a product in the market.
The cost of the seminar is $95 per person and $75 per person for firms sending two or more people. Cost is $50 per person for Alaska InvestNet members. For more information call (888) 393-3663.
